I can’t recommend Wallace Automotive highly enough. After another repair shop (a dealer) told me I needed over $1,400 in rear control arm replacements, I decided to get a second opinion. The team at Wallace took the time to properly diagnose the problem and found the real issue—a bent frame ear on the left rear lower control arm. They fixed it for just $85, and the squeak that had been driving me crazy was completely gone. Their honesty, knowledge, and integrity are exactly what you hope to find in an auto repair shop. Instead of recommending expensive repairs I didn’t need, they found the actual problem and fixed it quickly and affordably. It’s refreshing to find mechanics you can truly trust. Wallace Automotive has earned my business, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for honest, high-quality auto repair.

Really cared for my Honda. The service tech was very kind and told me he took a deep dive to learn more about my specific problem, with which he was familiar with on other engine models but new to the Element. He did a superb job fixing my car. It runs better than ever now.

I had my oil changed earlier this week and waited for the work to be done. The waiting area is super comfortable, and the work was done very efficiently. I have used Wallace for many, many years and can't imagine going anywhere else.

I have had my cars serviced by Wallace Automotive for several years. The company has two locations and the service provided at either is excellent. I needed an oil change, and setting up the appointment was easy using the online system. The service itself was quick and efficient, handled by good service technicians and customer rep’s. I have always been treated well by the company and certainly recommend them for quality care of one’s automobile.

Many years of dealing with Ted as my service advisor and John as my technician. Ted is easy going, good communicator and has integrity in reference to what he knows and what he might need to find an answer on. John is competent and honest, letting you know what needs attention right now along with what can be put on hold for a while. As a car enthusiast who values relationships with the service department, Wallace has the all the important traits of a good service team.

there have been a few times when i needed the electrical troubleshooting expertise that Wallace performs, and they were able to help me with accurate troubleshooting and information each time. i also appreciated clear communication about scheduling and pricing, they are definitely on my "good guys" list!

I was in town from Connecticut and need my 2010 Acura RL looked at for major engine noises. I made an appointment in advance before my trip. I came down, dropped it off, and they had answers for me the next day. Great service and great communication!! Very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend! Thank you Wallace!

The employees are super nice and they are professional and vehicle is ready on time. I brought 2cars to be inspected and 1 car needed a signal light. I was surprised that it cost $40 for the bulb- $3 was for installation. It seemed a bit high. I still like the company and feel they’re honest.

I had an amazing with experience with Wallace Automotive. It was easy to schedule my appointment. I dropped off my car the night before and they had it done within a couple hours the next day. It only cost $150 for an inspection, tire rotation, and oil change. This was the first shop in Richmond that didn’t try to upsell me or give a misdiagnosis. I highly recommend.

Wallace always comes thru for us! My son and I jusf returned from vacation and discovered his Honda Accord had no air conditioning as we go into 3 digit heat for the holiday weekend. Plus my son starts his new job on Monday so this needed addressing quickly! Ted and his team got us in and fixed it right before they closed for the holiday weekend and we are so happy!! They are THE best!!

Wallace always comes thru when we need help with our Honda Accord. My son starts a new job next week and the AC died. Wallace was able to get us in quickly before the holiday weekend started so we would not be without AC during this heat wave!! We love Wallace and Ted! They’re the best!!
